As the old pool aged and repairs became problematic for the membership to keep up with, talks of a new pool being build were happening and as they entered the year 1975, construction was well underway. The convenient location required that the Bungalow be torn down and some playground equipment moved to another location to make way for the construction. The new swimming pool was constructed for around $34,000 (approx. $380,000 today!)
The New Pool would be located adjacent to the building and was dedicated in 1976. The pool is a most popular attraction to many of our members requires a lot of man hours to keep it looking great. In addition to a relaxing retreat for our members, the pool has been host to water aerobics classes and Dive In Movie nights and An entirely new pump system was added in 2023 and a Sokol Sign was painted on the pool floor that can be seen from above.
