Once the Water Tank was built on a piece of property that the membership agreed to sell to the Water Department for the betterment of the area, it became possible to have county water and not just spring water in the Lodge.
This led to the construction of new restrooms added the side of the building. A row of basins, multiple toilet stalls and a shower for the Women’s side and a row of basins, two toilet stalls, three urinals and a shower for the men’s side. The heyday of the Bungalow and the Chicken Coop came to an end in the mid 1970s as the new indoor restrooms were completed.
