In June of 1950, construction began on the Dance Floor Pavilion next to the Concession Stand/Bar and included a smooth cement finish for dancing. The Dance Floor is still used regularly whether for a Camping talent show, ping pong, an escape from the rain or even occasional dance.

Later construction in 1997 included adding the paved ramp and retaining wall between the concession stand and dance floor.
