The first Sokol immigrants were proud to be a part of this country and proudly erected a Flagpole to display the Flag of their new country. The flagpole has also displayed an Sokol Camp flag, both of which are raised daily by children who participate in Sokol Camping and for many other occasions at Sokol Camp. The flagpole has also been the scene of many camp pranks where various belongings have been raised for the enjoyment of those present.
At the 75th Anniversary of Sokol Camp a time capsule was assembled and buried at the base of the flagpole to be opened on the 100th anniversary of our Sokol Camp!
